Allegany County Sheriff's Blotter

Allegany County Sheriff Ricky L. Whitney reports that on July 11th, 2017 Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office arrested Ryan R. Mitchell, age 25 of Scio on an Allegany County Violation of Probation Warrant. Mitchell was located by authorities in Palm Beach, FL and was extradited back to Allegany County. Mitchell was then processed and transported to Allegany County Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 insurance company bond. Mitchell is scheduled to reappear in the Allegany County Court on August 4th, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. for additional court action.

On July 11th, 2017 Deputies arrested Eric E. Bratcher, age 54 of Wellsville on a Violation of Probation Warrant issued by the Village of Wellsville Court. Bratcher, who was being released from the Allegany County Jail on unrelated charges, was processed and transported to the Village of Wellsville Court where he was arraigned and remanded to the Allegany County Jail with bail set at $2,500.00 cash or $5,000.00 bond.  Bratcher is to reappear in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 p.m. for additional court action.
