A Whitesville man pleaded guilty in Allegany County Tuesday to the felony crime of aggravated cruelty to animals. Eugenio N. Charles III, 29, of 732 Main Street entered his plea before the Hon. Thomas Brown. Prosecutors said Charles left two dogs inside his locked trailer with no food on September 11, 2016. At the time, SPCA officials told WKBW-TV it was "one of the worst cases of starvation the SPCA has seen in nearly 10 years."
No sentencing date was listed on a press release from the District Attorney's office.
