Route 417 Work Extended

The New York State
Department of Transportation today announced culvert replacement work on State
Route 417 in the Town of Greenwood has been extended due to recent storm damage.
Work on the culvert located approximately ½ mile east of the intersection of
State Route 417 and Steuben County Route 126 is now scheduled to be completed Tuesday,
June 20th.
A
signed detour using County Route 126 and State Route 36 will be available for
through traffic. All properties on State Route 417 will remain accessible
while work is being completed. Variable
message signs in the area have given road users advance notice of the work.
