Obituary: Carroll L. Fuller, 73, Caneadea UPDATED

Carroll L. Fuller, 73, of 7215 Crawford Creek Rd., Caneadea, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. Born July 31, 1943 at Cuba, NY, he was the son of Kenneth and Ellen Locke Fuller. On March 9, 1963 in the Belfast United Methodist Church parsonage, he married the former Margaret A. Lockwood, who survives.
Carroll grew up in Caneadea, attended the Belfast Central School and was a 1961 graduate of Belfast Central. After school, for several years. he was a machine operator and dye cast operator for Motorola Corp in Arcade. Later, for many years he became a heavy equipment operator for New York State Dept. of Transportation in Caneadea of which he retired from. After retirement he drove school bus for Belfast Central School for a period of 7 years.
Carroll enjoyed gardening, bird watching, animals of all kinds and car shows. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. He also loved reading his bible nightly and watching Christian TV shows.
He was a past member of the Oramel United Methodist Church and a past member of the Oramel Fire Dept.
Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret are two sons, Stewart L. (Cheryl) Fuller of Angelica and James B. (Shelley) Fuller of Caneadea; a daughter, Eileen C. Pierce of Cheektowaga; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Larry Fuller of Westons Mills, Michael (Darcy) Fuller of Belfast, Denny (Carol) Fuller of Belfast and Randy Fuller of Belfast; two sisters, Nancy (David) Beardsley of Castile and Barbara (Brian) Baker of Belmont; and several nieces and nephews.
Carroll was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Ken Fuller and Bill Fuller; and a sister, Norma Kailbourne.
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday June 6, 2017 where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Robert Mackmer, Pastor of the Belfast Free Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Oramel Cemetery, Town of Caneadea.
