Livingston County Court Report from June 6, 2017

After presentation by Joshua J. Tonra, Assistant District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins on June 6, 2017.

SHAMON L. BEDELL, age 46, of Rochester was sentenced on a conviction of Robbery in the Second Degree (C Felony) to 5 years in state prison plus 5 years post-release supervision as a second felony offender. He was also ordered to pay a $325 penalty assessment, a $50 DNA fee, and restitution. An Order of Protection was issued for the victim.

RACHEL E. COLE, age 28, of W. Virginia, charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (C Felony), Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer Third Degree Misdemeanor), Reckless Endangerment in the Second Degree (Misdemeanor), Reckless Driving (Misdemeanor), Failure to Use Signal and Unlicensed Operator, appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned to June 27, 2017.

STACEY M. EARL, age 31, of Auburn, convicted of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (D Felony), appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned to June 13, 2017.

NOELLE C. FARMER, age 29, of Dansville pled guilty to Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree (Misdemeanor) and the matter was adjourned to August 1, 2017 for sentencing.

ROBERT L. FLYNN, age 48 of Victor was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (D Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (E Felony), Operating Without Ignition Interlock Device, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer, Reckless Driving, Harassment in the Second Degree, Failure to Keep Right, Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, 3 counts of Speeding, 2 counts of Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign, and Refusal to Submit to a Field Screening Device. He was arraigned with his attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to June 27, 2017. Bail was set at $20,000.

CHRISTIAN J. GUSTAVSON, age 47, of Dansville was sentenced on a violation of probation to 1 to 3 years in state prison.

DESHAWN JAMES, age 23, formerly of Groveland Correctional Facility, charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree (D Felony), appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned to July 31, 2017.

DAVID E. KING, age 20, of Marion pled guilty to Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (D Felony) and the matter was adjourned to August 1, 2017 for sentencing.

JADE L. LAFORCE, age 24, of Canaseraga was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (D Felony) and Inadequate Exhaust. She was arraigned without an attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to June 27, 2017.

KRISTY L. PEFFERS, age 39, of Leicester, charged with Grand Larceny in the Second Degree (C Felony), appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned to June 13, 2017.

ERICA C. STEFANO, age 36, of Piffard was charged with Welfare Fraud in the Third Degree (D Felony), Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (D Felony), Misuse of Food Stamps (D Felony), and 2 counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree (E Felony). She was arraigned with her attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to July 11, 2017.

CHRISTINE WIEPERT, age 52, of Leicester was charged with 4 counts of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree (D Felony), Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree (E Felony), Insurance Fraud in the Third Degree (D Felony), and Fraudulent Practices (E Felony). She was arraigned with her attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to August 1, 2017.
