Greenwood: Travel Advisory for State Route 248

TRAVEL ADVISORY
State Route 248
Town of Greenwood, Steuben County
The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that pavement recycling work will begin on State Route 248 in the Town of Greenwood on Friday, June 16, 2017, weather permitting.  The scope of this project will extend from County Route 62 to Bennett’s Creek, for a total of approximately 1.6 miles.
A chip seal course will be placed in the same location at a later time.  A new advisory will be issued at that time.
Motorists will encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience travel delays.  It is imperative that motorists remember to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter this season.
