Watertown, Lowville, Warsaw, Geneseo, Canandaigua, Jamestown,
Olean, Wellsville, Orchard Park, and Springville

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT THIS
AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central and western New York...including the
  following counties...in central New York...Jefferson...Lewis...
  Northern Cayuga and Oswego. In western New York...Allegany...
  Cattaraugus...Chautauqua...Livingston...Monroe...Ontario...
  Southern Erie...Wayne and Wyoming.

* From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through this evening.

* A very moist airmass will move into western and central New York
  today with a potenial for training heavy thunderstorms from the
  western Southern Tier across the Genesee Valley and western
  Finger Lakes to the eastern Lake Ontario region. Two to three
  inches of rainfall or locally higher amounts within a hour or
  two could bring flash flooding from mid to late afternoon into
  this evening.

* Urban areas and areas with steep terrain will be most
  vulnerable to flash flooding.
