Bath: Local traffic about to get ugly with major project

TRAVEL ADVISORY
State Route 415 (Liberty Street)
Village of Bath, Steuben County
The New York State Department of Transportation Friday announced maintenance paving work will begin on State Route 415, Liberty Street, in the Village of Bath.  Work will occur on the roadway from Pulteney Square to State Route 54 beginning on Monday, June 12th, weather permitting.  The scope of the project work next week will consist of adjusting drainage structures, asphalt concrete milling, and ADA ramp improvements. This will be followed by the paving operations.  Work is anticipated to be completed in July.
While this work is taking place, traffic will be maintained by lane closures in one lane. Motorists may encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience travel delays.  It is imperative that motorists remember this season to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter.
