Obituary: Henry P. Hackett, 85, formerly of Cuba & Friendship

Rochester --- Henry P. Hackett of Rochester and a former resident of Friendship and Cuba died Friday, February 3, 2017 in Monroe Community Hospital after a long illness. He was born on August 25, 1931 in Newark, a son of the late George and Iona Perkins Hackett.
Henry was a US Air Force Veteran serving from 1952 to 1956 and a former employee of Acme Electric Corp., in Cuba.
Surviving are a daughter, Katherine (Andrew) Zimmer of Andover, PA, two sisters, Jean Gilford of N.C., Donna (William) Ornt of Rochester, a granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, William and Lawrence “Sam” Hackett.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship.
