CANASERAGA - Daniel C. Carpenter, 63, of 26 North Church
Street, passed away Saturday (Feb. 11, 2017) at Noyes Memorial Hospital in
Dansville.
Born in Cuba, N.Y., Dec. 23, 1953, the son of Gerald and
Lillian James Carpenter, he had resided in Short Tract during his early life,
moving to the Canaseraga area in 1970. Dan was a member of Trinity Episcopal
Church in Canaseraga, the Canaseraga American Legion Post, the Sons of the
Legion, and the Dansville Moose Lodge. He will be remembered for his love of
fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Carl
Carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Gordon Carpenter to whom
he was married in 1974; his daughters, Tanya Carpenter of Canaseraga, Tina
(Bryce) Yost of California, Tara Carpenter of Canaseraga and MiKayla Carpenter
of Canaseraga; his sister, Carol Carpenter of Wellsville and his brothers,
David (Nancy) Carpenter of Fillmore and Rodney (Lisa) Carpenter of Angelica;
eight grandchildren, Davis St. Denis, Austin St. Denis, Kylie Nicholson, Kaden
Nicholson, Chase Yost, Madison May, Jaden May and Evelyn May.
