Democrats Collecting for Food Pantry
in Angelica
Belmont, NY – When the Allegany
County Democrats gather for their monthly “Coffee with Democrats” on Saturday,
January 11th in Angelica, they’ll be collecting non-perishable
food and personal care items to be donated to the Blessing Box pantry sponsored
by Angelica’s Methodist Church.
“This is the second year that
county Democrats have organized monthly collections,” says County Chair Karen
Ash. “Coffee with Democrats is held at a different location each month.
Wherever we meet, we donate to the pantry in that town. Serving our community
in this way is a simple yet meaningful expression of our organization’s and our
party’s values.”
The event runs from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. at 22 W. Main St., Angelica and is open to all registered Democrats.
