The Wellsville School Board of Education will meet December 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in the Elementary School Multi-Purpose room. The Board will vote to accept the resignation of Foreign Language teacher Melissa Paoletti. The effective date will be November 18, 2024. Members will vote to approve a managerial Leave of Absence for Tony Fountain. The leave will run from January 6, 2025 until about January 29, 2025. School Monitor Joann Green submitted her resignation effective November 29, 2024. The School Board will also act on two Non-instructional leaves of absence for Jeff Padden and an unpaid leave for Hailee Clark from March 31, 2025 until June 30, 2025. Linda Tronetti, Judy Perkins, Nora Burdick and Rachel Lewis will also be considered for approval as long-term substitutes.Upon recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of Education acknowledges the formation of the Swim Club, an after-school activity intended to support the growth of the swim program.
