LOCAL HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES ARE TEAMING UP TO HOST
AN ADDITIONAL RELIEF EVENT FOR FLOOD VICTIMS
Several local human service agencies will be teaming up to help provide flood recovery for Steuben County residents that were hit hard by last week’s devastating flood from Tropical Storm Debby. This additional Flood Relief Resource Center will be held on Monday, August 19th, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the following location:
Steuben County Civil Defense Center
7220 State Route 54
Bath, NY 14810
Human Service Agencies from Arbor Housing and Development, Catholic Charities of Steuben/Livingston, ProAction of Steuben and Yates Counties will be on hand to assist residents with questions and evaluate eligibility for future funding assistance. Proof of residency and income are suggested. If you have estimates of damage, please bring that information as well.
If you have called 2-1-1 to report damages, it is important for you to attend one of these events. 2-1-1 can also provide residents with connection to various other programs and services in the County. It is a resource for those in need.
This session is geared to help gather additional information. These events are open to any person who has been affected by the flood. You only need to attend one session, and they are on a first come, first serve basis.
