Judith A. Kennedy: Loving Mother and Grandmother
Judith A. Kennedy, 85, formerly of 1249 Salt Rising Road, Bolivar, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born on July 10, 1939, in Olean, she was a daughter of William and Evelyne Eaton Anderson. On May 3, 1974, in Olean, she married Donald Kennedy who predeceased her in 2003.
She was a graduate of Olean High School. She had worked for Alcas Cutlery and then was employed by the Cattaraugus County Rehabilitation Center as a Direct Support Professional for many years prior to her retirement.
Judith was past member of the Olean Kennel Club. She enjoyed playing euchre, playing cards, and Bingo
She is survived by
2 Sons Charles (Judy) DuBose of Jamestown and
Terrance (Laura) DuBose of Jamestown; A Daughter Michele (Morey) Butts of West Clarksville; 7 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, and 1 Great great grandchild; Several Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son Mark Dubose in 1986 a brother James Beaton and a sister Jacqueline Enders.
Private graveside services will be held in Wells Cemetery, Little Genesee, New York at the convenience of the family.
