Democrats Donate to Salvation Army Food Pantry in Wellsville

Belmont, NY – Today, volunteers from the Allegany County Democratic Committee delivered more than a dozen bags of non-perishable food and personal care items collected at their recent “Coffee with Democrats” event. This service project is one of the ways the Democratic Committee lives its motto: “Serving our Community.”

The Salvation Army started operations in Wellsville in 1906 and serves an average of 550-600 individuals each month.  Located at 25 East Pearl St., Wellsville, the pantry is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9:30 to 2:30. The organization is open for church on Sundays from 10:30 to 12:30.  For more information, please call 585-593-2640.
