WEST CLARKSVILLE - Nicholas "Nick" Garrey, 37, returned to his heavenly home, surrounded by loved ones, on Friday (Jan. 5, 2024) after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace and comfort.
Nick was born to Robert and Paula Garrey on Dec. 10, 1986. On Oct. 22, 2011, Nick married the love of his life, Kerry Merrell. He was blessed with three children.
He graduated from Bolivar-Richburg Central School in 2005 and went on to become a machinist for Siemens.
In addition to being a loving and dedicated husband and father, Nick was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp and vacation with family. Nick was a legend at pulling a good prank on those he loved. Those who knew him knew that his smile could fill a room.
Nick is survived by his wife, Kerry; his daughters, Trinity and Bailey; his son, Colton; his parents, Bob and Paula; his sister, Amber (Matt) Cobia; his brother, Adam; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Audrey Garrey; and his maternal grandparents, Halley and Ann Martin. Nick touched the lives of many people and leaves behind many special friends.
