Obituary: Richard J. Mosher, II, 66, of Wellsville UPDATED
Richard D. “Dick” MOSHER, II, 66, of Wellsville, NY, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Jones Memorial Hospital. Born May 31, 1957, in Wellsville, he was the son of Richard J. and Florence Allen Mosher. A 1977 graduate of Wellsville Central School, he attended BOCES for automotive. He was employed as an auto mechanic in Virginia for many years, where he was a certified motor vehicle inspector. He enjoyed the simple things in life, listened to an array of music, but loved spending time with his family more than anything. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Dick was a social member of Morrison Hayes American Legion Post #702, Frank B. Church VFW Post #2530, and Wellsville Lodge No. 601 Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are: three daughters, Sheena (Joshua) Roberts of Friendship, Karisa (Pedro) Annulysse of Davenport, FL, and Desiree Hakes of Brownwood, TX; two sons, Richard D. Mosher, III of Attica and Douglas J. Mosher of Little Valley; ten grandchildren, Lennox, Jaidyn, Hayden, Kyla, Marissa, Myralia, Dougie, Elizabeth, Legacee, and Damien; ten fur grand babies, Mason, Tommy, Laya-“Woof”, Penelope, Delilah, Milo, Jack, Cheshire Binx, Oliver, and Kipper-“Meow”; three sisters, Carol (Joe) Szymkowiak of Buffalo, Barb (late Gary) Kelleher of Wellsville, and Kathy Baker of Kerrville TX; several nieces and nephews; and life-long best friend, Harold Kemp. He was predeceased by his parents; a grandson, Damien Edward Annulysse; and two sisters, Ronica Mosher and Nancy (Late Charles) Bledsoe. Services will be held at the discretion of the family. Cremation was at OLNEY-FOUST Private Crematory. Memorials may be made to the Wellsville VFW, Wellsville American Legion, or any local animal shelter.
