This decision was obviously in the works for sometime, if you read the statement put out by the company. This is a worldwide cut back of 10,000 jobs, 7,000 in Germany alone. I doubt like hell any change in Government policy towards the fossil fuel industry in the last two weeks had any bearing on this decision. But Reed in his typical political speech attempts to lay the blame on a two week old Administration. That really in a nutshell kind of debunks his bi-partisan credentials, what a hypocrite .
