PORTVILLE - Melony Jean James, 96, of 25 North Main St. and a former Richburg resident passed away on Friday December 11, 2020 in the Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Olean following a lengthy illness. Jean was born on August 19, 1924 in the Town of Wirt; she was the daughter of J. Frederick and Thelma Glover Dick. She married Leo T. James on November 27, 1943 in Bolivar, Mr. James preceded her in death on June 26, and 2005.Jean was a life member of the Star of the East Chapter 109 OES Bolivar.
Surviving are three sons, Michael (Diane) James Sioux Falls
S.D. Ralph (Billijean) James Olean, Dennis (Janet) James Shinglehouse Pa. Seven
Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren. One Brother James (Carol) Dick
Richburg. Several nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held in the Schaffner
Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
Burial in East Sharon Cemetery Shinglehouse, PA.
