ALFRED, NY –
College Consensus, an aggregator of institutions of higher education, has
released its rankings of Master of Business Administration programs and Alfred
University’s is rated among the best in New York State.
In its “Best
MBA Programs in New York for 2020,” College Consensus ranked Alfred University
20th.
“Business
education is booming but not all programs are created equal,” College Consensus
stated in announcing the rankings. “With potential MBA students wanting the
best schools with the greatest affordability, most convenience, and highest
reputation, College Consensus has put together the top programs in the country
with these high standards. Utilizing the five most respected MBA ranking
systems, each school's scores were weighted equally and then averaged to reveal
the MBA program's College Consensus score.”
College
Consensus arrived at its rankings for MBA programs in New York State by
combining information contained in five MBA ranking systems: Bloomberg
Businessweek, The Financial Times, The Economist, Forbes, and U.S. News and
World Report. Each program’s ranking in these systems was converted to a score
on a 100-point scale. These scores were weighted equally and then averaged to
reveal the program’s Consensus Score.
