After an extended executive session, i.e., behind closed doors, the Wellsville Village Board Monday night decided to exit the Municipal Building. Details are sketchy, but here is what a text message from Mayor Randy Shayler said Monday evening:
"Board voted contingent upon successful legal review, and a couple small items, to execute agreement to move to 23 North (former Burrous Building). "Village officials were not immediately available for follow-up questions.
In recent months, the town of Wellsville said it would not move to the new facility. We've just placed a call to the town supervisor for a comment.
