The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that the second phase of a three-phase paving project on State Route 305 from the Genesee town line to County Route 6, Allegany County, will begin Monday, August 12, 2019, weather permitting. This course will apply a chip seal treatment to the surface, and completes phase one of the project. The third phase, a hot mix asphalt overlay, is scheduled for the 2020 construction season.
Traffic will be maintained with a one lane, two-way alternating flagging operation and a pilot vehicle. The public should expect delays.
