On January 2, 2019, SP Amity Troopers arrested April M. Baldwin, 32, of Belmont, NY for Welfare Fraud and Filing a False Instrument.
An investigation led Troopers to discover Baldwin had filed false paperwork with Allegany County DSS, by which she obtained $1,197.00 of public assistance to which she was not entitled.
Baldwin was arrested and released with an appearance ticket returnable to Belmont Village Court later this month.
