Olean man surrenders to police on robbery charge

The criminal investigation unit of the Olean Police department arrested 30-year-old Thomas J. Washington of Olean this morning at 7:10 a.m. after he turned himself in at the Olean Police Department. Washington was wanted for the robbing the 7-11 located at 607 N. Union St. on January 15th at 2:47 a.m.. Washington was processed and held for arraignment on charges of Robbery 1st, Assault 2nd, and petit larceny.
