Shinglehouse man faces felony strangulation charge

Coudersport-based troopers on Friday arrested Dustin James Baldwin, 22, of Shinglehouse. He was charged by police with felony strangulation and lesser counts of simple assault and harassment with physical contact. The alleged crimes occurred in Shinglehouse Borough. Baldwin was arraigned at 8:45 a.m. Friday by District Magistrate Kari A. McCleaft. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for February 6th.
