Fillmore - ShirleyAnn Betty Evans, 80, of 11577 Armison Road
died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in her home. She was born on November 9, 1938
in East Pembroke, a daughter of the late Robert and Frieda Grampp Humel.
Shirley was a member of the Friends in Christ United
Methodist Church, Homemakers, senior citizens coffee at Speichers and the
Houghton Exercise class. She was active with the fish fry at the
Wiscoy-Rossburg Fire Hall and loved gardening, being outside, making maple
syrup and most of all laughing and enjoying her family.
Surviving are her children, Calvin Lathan, Ronald (Tammy)
Lathan, Kathleen Lathan, Colleen (Tim) Miller, Pamela (Steve) Vickers, Cynthia
(Bob) Beardsley, nine grandchildren, Connor Lathan, Melissa (Chris) Best, Amber
(Jason) Kiley, Andrea (Joe) Estes, Andrew (Alicia) Miller, Hondo Humberstone,
Travis (Lisa) Reynolds, Christ Reynolds, Jesica Machvoe, 17
great-grandchildren, her siblings, Rudy (Jackie) Humel, Norm (Mary Lou) Humel,
Kenny (Janet) Humel, Elfrieda (Dave) Bridge and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Howard Evans, she
was predeceased by, four sisters, Linda Dibble, Alice Martin, Elsie Duckworth,
Eleanor Luce and two brothers, Ernie Humel and Robert Humel.
Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee
Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Craig Buelow,
pastor of the Friends in Christ United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial
will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Fillmore.
