Dale H. Potter, 82, of Harrison Valley, PA, died Wednesday,
January 16, 2019 in his home. Born June
26, 1936, in Elkland, he was the son of Leland Harold and Barbara Freas
Potter. On July 2, 1955, in Harrison
Valley, he married the former Loveda “Dee Dee” Kibbe, who survives. He was employed by Consolidated, now
Dominion, from 1956 – 1992. Dale served
as caretaker of the Whites Corners Cemetery for many years. He was a life member of the Harrison Township
Volunteer Fire Co., charter member of the Harrison Valley Community Ball Park
Association, Elkland Moose, and the Westfield Masonic Lodge. Surviving besides his wife, Loveda, are: four sons, Richard (Claudette) Potter of
Harrison Valley, Paul Potter of Harrison Valley, Duane (Renee) Potter of
Covington, and Neal (Cheri) Potter of Harrison Valley; ten grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Barbara) Potter of
Elkland; a sister, Barbara Ann Potter of
Portland, OR; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie
Potter of Campbell, NY and Lynn Potter of Tioga; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by a granddaughter, Skyler;
and two brothers, Franklin Potter and Robert Potter. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday,
January 27, 2019 at the Harrison Township Community Building from 1:00 – 3:00
PM. Burial will be in Whites Corners
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the
