BOLIVAR - Constance Y. "Connie" Lewis, 78, of
731/2 Stannards Lane, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 in the Wellsville
Manor Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Born July 20, 1940 in Warren Pa., she was the daughter of
Clarence and Ann Rudolph Tucker. Connie married Edward Lewis on September 13,
1997. Mr. Lewis preceded her in death on April 22, 2002.
Connie was employed for many years as an assembler at Acme
Electric Co. in Cuba. Connie was also a waitress at the Bolivar Hotel. She was
a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church, and a 59-year member of the
American Legion Kenyon Andrus Post 772 of Bolivar. Connie faithfully
volunteered her time at the Bolivar Richburg Elementary School for many years.
She loved walking, search a word puzzles, and her dog Mattie.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Joan Tucker of Scio, several
stepchildren and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister,
Bonnie Isengard, and a brother, C.D. "Tom" Tucker.
There will be no prior visitation or funeral service. Burial
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bolivar.
Memorials may be made to the Hart Comfort House 141 East
State St. Wellsville, NY 14895. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of
the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc. Bolivar.
