Wellsville Police arrested Sean M. Dawson, age 25 of
Wellsville, charging him with Petit Larceny.
The charge stems from an incident that took place at A Plus in
Wellsville. Dawson was processed, issued
an appearance ticket and released.
Dawson is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on November 14th at
4:30 p.m.
Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the
Wellsville Village Court, arrested Robert A. Hopkins, age 43 of Scio, charging
him with failure to appear in Court and/or pay fine. Hopkins was located by the
Allegany County Sheriff’s Department and transported to Wellsville. Hopkins was processed and arraigned before Wellsville
Village Judge O’Connor. Hopkins was
committed to the Allegany County Jail on $250.00 cash bail. Hopkins is due back in Wellsville Village
Court on November 21st at 4:30 p.m.

Police wish to remind all Wellsville Residents, that as of November 1st the
Village Ordinance prohibits any parking on any Village Street between the hours
of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m The restriction remains in effect through May 1st and
is subject to a $30.00 fine.
