On Thursday, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) announced the arrest of Terry Burdick, 35, who was wanted on an outstanding Allegany County indictment warrant charging him with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree and criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree, both felonies. The charges, police said, are the result of a lengthy investigation in to the alleged sales of cocaine occurring in Allegany County. Police said Burdick "was found hiding behind a false wall in a residence located on Linwood Avenue in the Town of Friendship" by the State Police Violent Felony Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force. Also arrested at the scene was Tracy Robbins, 40, who was charged with obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree and endangering the welfare of a child. Both Burdick and Robbins were processed at the SP Amity Barracks and committed to the Allegany County Jail to await further court proceedings. Also assisting with the investigation and arrests were the New York State Police Amity Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), New York State Amity based Troopers and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force – Olean.
