Cuba - The Palmer Opera House & Event Center, is presenting a concert on Sunday November 5th, at 3 p.m. featuring the Maple City Barbershop Chorus. The Maple City Barbershop Chorus presents A Cappella music from the 50s and 60s including selections made famous by Neil Sedaka, the Beach Boys and the Beatles. Also performing are Quartets; Rusty Pickups and Revised Arrangements. Admission to this show is by donation.
The Chorus is the longest running singing group in Hornell, celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2018. Save the date of June 9th, 2018, for a spectacular show with international silver medalists Signature Quartet.
You can also join the chorus on November 11th, in Coudersport, singing with their friends from Olean too. The chorus perform about 24 times each year, singing Christmas carols, raising money for food pantries, entertaining seniors in nursing home and centers, delivering singing Valentines, and many other other fun occasions.

The Palmer Opera House in Cuba is a vintage theater located in New York. This historic theater is steeped with rich character and details of another era. Palmer Opera House was built in 1867, and after a long and rich history fell into disrepair and restoration began in 2006 by the Cuba Friends of Architecture, the non profit organization charged with maintaining the historic venue.
Proceeds from this show will benefit the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the historic venue.
