Established in 2014 with the Cattaraugus Region Community
Foundation, the Wayne Krieger Memorial Scholarship provides three $750
scholarships annually, one each to a student at the Belmont, Olean and
Ellicottville BOCES campuses who is planning to pursue a degree in criminal
justice.

Established by his family, the scholarship memorializes
Wayne Krieger of Delevan who served as a Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputy.
Mr. Krieger was the department’s first canine officer and also acted as an
officer for the DARE program. He passed away in 2010.
Donations to the Wayne Krieger Memorial Scholarship can be

Established in 1994, the Cattaraugus Region Community
