Family Fun Tent returns to the Angelica Farmers' Market

Remember that outrageously purple, double-sized tent at the Angelica Farmers’ Market in Park Circle last season?  We’re thrilled to announce that the Family Fun Tent returns this year beginning Sat., June 17th, thanks to the Friends of the Angelica Free Library.
The Family Fun Tent creates a delightful family experience on market Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (excluding Festival days:  Lavender Festival July 1st, Heritage Days August 5th, Civil War Weekend Sept. 23rd.)
The first date is Sat., June 17th. The theme is “Making Things Grow” and the craft is an “Egg Carton Seed Starter.” Families can plant an assortment of flower and vegetable seeds to take home.  Once the seeds have sprouted, they can be transplanted into your home garden in a snap!
Families are invited to drop by every week to make a new simple craft and to enjoy stories read aloud by our volunteers. Additional crafts planned for the 2017 season include: corn husk dolls, beeswax candles, hummingbird feeders and cow socks.  (Yes, you read that correctly. Cow socks.)
Visit www.angelicafarmersmrkt.wixsite.com to learn more, or pick up a Family Fun Tent Schedule at the Angelica Free Library, Community Bank, or the Angelica Sweet Shop.  Make plans for some “family fun” at the Angelica Farmers’ Market!
