THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

* LOCATIONS...WYOMING...LIVINGSTON...ONTARIO...AND ALLEGANY
  COUNTIES.


* TIMING...FROM LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY  AFTERNOON.

* HAZARDS...HEAVY SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW POTENTIALLY ACCUMULATING 6 TO 10 INCHES.

* VISIBILITIES...BELOW A HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...WET SNOW WILL RESULT IN SLICK TRAVEL CONDITIONS. THE  WORST TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED MONDAY NIGHT, BUT THE STORM MAY IMPACT THE MONDAY EVENING AND TUESDAY MORNING  COMMUTES.

* FORECASTER CONFIDENCE...LOW. TEMPERATURES WILL BE MARGINALLY COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW. IT WILL ONLY TAKE A SMALL CHANGE IN  EXPECTED TEMPERATURES TO RESULT IN BIG CHANGES TO THE SNOWFALL FORECAST. THERE STILL REMAINS A WIDE RANGE OF POTENIAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS IN THE WATCH AREA.

* POTENTIAL FOR 6 INCHES OR MORE OF HEAVY WET SNOW.

* GREATEST RISK FOR HEAVY SNOW IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

IMPACTS...

* HAZARDOUS TRAVEL ON SNOW COVERED ROADS.

* LONGER COMMUTE TIMES MONDAY EVENING.

* HEAVY WET SNOW MAY PRODUCE LOCALIZED UTILITY INTERRUPTIONS.
