The Wellsville Fire Department was called to an involved house fire on South Broad Street in the village. There was a full Department response and several ambulances also responded. There was one fatality, according to police. In a brief statement this evening, Wellsville Police Chief Tim O'Grady said "Yes I can confirm one dead." He has no further comment.
