Friendship man gets jail time for choking woman

A Friendship man will serve two, one-year consecutive jail terms for choking a woman and violating an order of protection. A judge also issued an 8-year order of protection and told 23-year-old Justin C. Holbrook of Maple Grove Road to stay away from the victim. Prosecutors said while stashed in jail, Holbrook called the victim 12 times. The crimes happened in May 2016.
