A former Wellsville resident hopes to unseat Pennesylvania State
Rep. Martin Causer. Ronald McGonigle, a Democrat, wants to run against the
Turtle Point Republican to serve the 67th district. McGonigle is hoping his
party will endorse him for the run. McGonigle was born in Buffalo and graduated
from Wellsville High School in 2003. The Bradford Era says the McGonigle wants
to see a hike in the minimum wage…but also noted he does not support higher
taxes. He currently works at Futures Rehabilitation Center.
Causer was first elected in 2002. He is a former McKean
County 911 Dispatcher and was a former part time police officer. The 67th
district includes all of Cameron and McKean counties, as well as most of Potter
County.
