Gainesville, FL - E. Ruth Gledhill of 3805 NW 50th Street
and a former resident Fillmore, NY died Monday, February 19, 2018 in her home.
She was born on April 21, 1921 in Nunda, a daughter of the late Chester and
Janette Cromwell. She married Clair M. Gledhill who predeceased her on October
4, 2002.
Ruth loved to play cards, play bingo, travel, read and go
camping.
Surviving are her children, Richard (Marjorie) Gledhill of
Charlotte, NC, Kathy (Michael) Rice of Gainesville, FL, a daughter-in-law,
Linda Gledhill of Augusta, GA, eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and
a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased
by a son Carl Gledhill in 2013.
Family and friends may gather from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee
Street, Fillmore, NY where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Bruce
Smith, pastor of the Higgins Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Burial will be in
Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore, NY. Memorials if desired to: Fillmore Rescue
Squad, PO Box 53, Fillmore, NY 14735 or the Red Cross.
