Friendship teen charged with rape - police say victim was under age 11

A 17-year-old name-protected Friendship boy was taken into custody Monday - accused of committing a sex crime. State police said the teenager was charged with 1st degree rape involving a child under the age of 11 as well as endangering the welfare of a child. The alleged crime occurred February 11th in Friendship. Arraigned in court, a judge set bail at $15,000 cash.
