Wellsville Police Blotter

Date: Tuesday June 4, 2024 

Wellsville Police arrested Christopher J. Buell, age 52 of Wellsville, charging him with Aggravated Harassment 2^nd (Class A Misdemeanor) and Harassment 2^nd (Violation).  The charges stem from an incident that took place on Trapping Brook Road on May 21^st.  Buell was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Buell was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 2^nd at 4:30 pm. 

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested  Daniell E. Webster, age 34 of Wellsville, for failure to appear in Wellsville Village Court on a previous Petit Larceny charge.  Webster was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Webster pled guilty to a reduced charge of Disorderly Conduct, fined $100.00 plus restitution and released.

Wellsville Police arrested Sharon L. Nye, age 51 of Wellsville, charging her with Public Lewdness (Class B Misdemeanor).  The charge stems from an incident that took place on Pine Street on May 30^th.  Nye was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Nye was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 2^nd at 4:30 pm. 

Wellsville Police arrested Deonte D. Smith, age 41 of Wellsville, charging him of Harassment 2^nd (Violation).  The charge stems from an incident that took place on East State Street on May 2^nd.  Smith was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson.  Smith was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 2^nd at 4:30 pm.
