Missionaries to Provide Perspectives
in Friendship About World Situations
Area
residents will have two opportunities in June to learn about the work of
missionaries in different parts of the world during public presentations with
free meals in Friendship.
Next
Wednesday, June 12, the Just Do It!
women's missions group of the United Church of Friendship will host Don Little
of Houghton, a ministry consultant for the mission organization Pioneers, in
which he encourages, counsels, and trains missionaries around the world.
Little
also is a co-founder and director of the Lilias Trotter Center and has a life
focus on discipling people to be all that they can be in God and to mobilize,
train and mentor men and women to a life of loving Muslims.
The
missionary enjoys “investing deeply in people so as to help them be fruitful
and healthy in God.”
A
luncheon, followed by the presentation, starts at noon at Carter House Ministry
Center, 137 East Main Street.

he often is involved with in the Far East, will discuss difficulties with
Christian mission activities during COVID, along with his views of the future
of Christianity in that region, during the 11AM weekly service at the Followers
of the Way - Nile Community Church.
The
