The Allegany County Legislature on Monday acted on more than 40 resolutions, one of the busiest sessions of 2020. The Board approved the appointment of Rochester attorney Jeffrey M. Donigan as the new county attorney. He replaces Carissa Knapp, who advanced to county administrator earlier this year. Lawmakers also appointed Tyler Shaw as Public Health Director. The job opening followed the retirement of Lori Ballengee.
