Statement from Post 530:
Sunday night the Post experienced a fire that destroyed the gazebo and totaled the interior of the kitchen. Nobody was hurt in any way. Thank you Big Guy.
Many "Thanks" to the Shinglehouse Volunteer Fire Dept for your prompt and professional response. Your immediate actions and thoroughness definitely saved the building. You're Champs.
For now we'll need to assess the damage and move from there. We'll keep you posted.
The Post will be closed until we can clean things up.
