In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected
approximately 10 million people, and there have been over 238,000 deaths. According to the New York State Department of
Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 529,036 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there
have been 25,947 deaths statewide. As of
8:30 p.m. on November 8, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:
