A fire damaged a small cabin on George Road in the town of West Almond. At 1:07 a.m. Saturday firefighters from Angelica, Belfast and Belmont were dispatched to the scene. When the Angelica fire chief arrived at the scene 12 minutes after the initial dispatch, he reported the blaze involved a "small cabin...working fire at this time." There were no initial reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
