Richard O. “Ratchet” Costello, 61, of Genesee, PA, died
Friday, July 6, 2018 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA. Born September
22, 1956, in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of John H. and June Sugden
Costello. Richard worked as a handyman and
farmer. He was a member of the Genesee
Township Volunteer Fire Company. Surviving are three brothers, John (Judy)
Costello, Jr. and Rodney Costello, both of Genesee, and Dale Costello of
Wellsville; two sisters, Donna Costello
of Bradford, PA and Doris E. Emerson of Genesee; an aunt, Elsie Coleman of Springfield, PA;
good friends, Scott Luce and Bob Ransom; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by three siblings, Donald J. Costello, Carl W. Costello, and Carol
A. Costello; and his step-mother, Barbara Costello. A memorial gathering will be announced on a
later date by the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. Memorials may be made to the Genesee
