Center in Wellsville, will be held on Saturday (July 14, 2018) at 11:00 a.m. at
the Andover First Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Densmore, officiating.
Mrs. Higday was born on Jan. 5, 1946 in Wellsville to
Charles W. and Winnifred M. “Winnie” (Geffers) Jenison.
Thelma is survived by one daughter, Loucinda (Douglas)
Glover of Andover; two brothers, Cecil E. (Carol) Jenison of Wellsville and

Andover and Sharon L. Morris of Wellsville; three grandchildren, Ashley Glover

Thelma committed her life as a stay at home mom. She loved
to knit and crochet, making countless sweaters and baby booties to give away to
family and friends. She was an avid cat lover. Thelma enjoyed watching Western
movies and cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills. Two of her daughter’s
favorite memories were watching Western movies with her mom and enjoying a
fresh cup of hot cocoa she made especially for her after sledding, even though
her mom was allergic to cocoa.
