Following a complaint of an alleged shoplifting incident at a local business in the village on Friday July 27th at approximately 3:00 p.m Cuba Police arrested Gail A. Hewitt, 45, of Cuba on charges of petit larceny(misdemeanor, 2 counts). Hewitt was processed and issued an appearance ticket to appear at a later date. Hewitt is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
