Allegany County Concerned Citizens Sharing Information plan Aug. 6th meeting in Allentown

Attention all Allegany County, NY Residents:
Concerned Citizens Sharing Information (CCSI) is holding a meeting on August 6, 2018, at the Allentown Fire Hall, 6:00 p.m.. We will be providing information concerning the County's and NY State's efforts to consolidate towns, villages, highway equipment, and positions. The County is looking to save money by consolidating Highway Superintendents, Town Clerks, Tax Collectors, and eventually Town Supervisors in favor of creating positions on the county level to oversee districts. This will eliminate jobs on the local level and reduce our input on what happens in our towns.
Recently one of our co-founders, Heather Trask, mailed letters out to our County Administrator Tim Boyde, District III Legislators, Town Supervisors, and Highway Superintendents. To date, only Tim Boyde, (confirmed) Deb Root (declined) and the Town of Independence (confirmed) have replied.
Printable flyers will be made available here today if you are interested in printing them out and taking them to your Town Clerk to remind your elected leaders that our towns and their jobs are on the line.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us via messenger or email: CCSINOWORG@gmail.com.
We hope to see you at the meeting.

As of today, July 26, 2018, we will have the following in attendance at our meeting:

Ms. Lee James from Congressman Reed's office
Tim Boyde, Allegany County Administrator
Requests were also sent to Legislators Dwight Fanton and Bill Dibble who have not yet responded and to Legislator Deb Root and Assemblyman Joe Giglio have declined.
