Dear Jasper-Troupsburg Central School District School District and Community Members:
I am certain that everyone has learned of Sunday night's events (regarding missing school teacher Stanley Matteson). Please be aware that the NYS Troopers are actively involved in the search. We are cooperating with all authorities to the best of our abilities.
We ask that people please refrain from making inquiries and phone calls to the District and/or the elementary building regarding updates at this time. We appreciate everyone's thoughts and concern, but we need to keep our lines of communication open to assist the authorities in their efforts, while also trying to provide for the needs of our students, faculty and staff.
Monday's scheduled elementary musical was postponed.
